One person is dead after a shooting in Sumter County late Saturday night.

Sumter County Sheriff Tyrone Clark tells Newscenter 11 the shooting happened just after midnight at the Morningstar Community Center. Clark says the victim is 31-year old Detrick Bell of York, Alabama.

Sheriff Clark tells us his team is conducting a full investigation and that he will be releasing more information in the coming days.
