A man accused of dismembering a 79-year-old man has been returned to Mississippi following his arrest in Cincinnati.
Richard Lambert was jailed in Harrison County on Friday following an 11-hour trip from Ohio. He's charged with capital murder in the stabbing death of Robert Barnes, of Long Beach, whose remains were found floating in a marine on May 19.
Authorities say Barnes apparently was robbed at his home before he was stabbed to death.
Lambert was arrested May 21 at a friend's apartment in Cincinnati. Investigators say he had spent several weeks at a bed and breakfast inn across the road from Barnes' house.
