About 0430 hours Saturday morning, Meridian Police responded to a residence in the 200 block of 23rd Street on a reported robbery. There they met with the 76 year old victim who stated a masked black male came into his home and robbed him by force of his money. The suspect, only described as a black male, fled the scene on foot. No further.

On Saturday, Meridian Police responded to a strong armed robbery at a motel on North Frontage Road. The victim advised Police he was robbed by two black males who were staying in the room with him. He was unable to provide a description of the suspects. The victim received minor injuries. No further.

Saturday morning at about 0400 hours, Meridian Police responded to a local E.R. where they met a gunshot victim who had been shot in the hand. The victim said he had been shot two hours prior while he was walking in the 3200 block of 11th Street. The victim could only advise a white car was driving by when he was shot. No further.

Meridian Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred in the 1600 block of 34th Street. The incident occurred around 0130 hours Sunday morning where it was reported a small white car fired a shotgun blast at a parked vehicle at the residence. No one was injured and only the vehicle was struck. No further.
