The following were reported to the Meridian PD from 04-22-2014 to 04-23-2014

Robbery

At 6:46 AM, On April 22, 2014, Meridian Police responded to an armed robbery in the 1800 block of 24th Street. Officers arrived in 3 minutes and determined than an unknown B/M armed with a gun made entry by pushing his way through the door. This case is under investigation.

At 6:40 PM, On April 22, 2014, Meridian Police responded to an armed robbery in the 4000 block of 36th Street. Officers arrived at 6:44 PM and determined that 4 B/M’s armed with guns attempted to push through a door.

At 9:34 PM, On April 22, 2014, Meridian Police responded to an armed robbery in the 3600 block of 42nd Avenue. Officers arrived at 9:53 PM and determined that a W/M armed with a gun attempted to rob victim by kicking in the door.

At 10:11 PM, On April 22, 2014, Meridian Police responded to an armed robbery in the 100 block of Highway 11 & 80. Officers arrived in 8 minutes and determined that 2 W/M victims were approached by 2 unknown B/M suspects armed with guns.

Commercial Burglary

There were no commercial burglaries reported.

Stolen Vehicles

There were no stolen vehicles reported.

Auto Burglary

At 2:28 PM, On April 22, 2014, Meridian Police took a report at the front desk on an auto burglary that happened in the 2400 block of Highway 19 North. There are no known suspects.

At 4:36 PM, On April 22, 2014, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 1600 block of 26th Avenue. Officers arrived at 4:45 PM and determined that a battery was taken from a vehicle by unknown suspects.

Residential Burglary

At 11:28 AM, On April 22, 2014, Meridian Police responded a burglary in the 2600 block of St. Luke Street. Officers arrived at 11:40 AM and determined unknown suspect(s) entered the home. This case is under investigation.

At 2:44 PM, On April 22, 2014, Meridian Police responded to a burglary in the 1300 block of 45th Avenue. Officers arrived in 1 minute and determined entry was made through a window. A suspect was arrested in this case.

At 5:21 PM, On April 22, 2014, Meridian Police responded to a burglary in the 900 block of 30th Avenue. Officers arrived at 5:35 PM and determined entry was made through a window. This case is under investigation.

Shootings

At 10:31 AM, On April 22, 2014, Meridian Police Officers responded to a shots fired call in the 1200 block of 26th Street. Officers arrived in 3 minutes and witnesses stated that 2 B/M juveniles had fired several shots and ran off. Officers combed the area but were unable to come up with any suspects.

Meridian Police Officers responded to 3 shots fired calls. When Officers arrived on scene they were unable to locate any evidence to the support the call.
