Meridian Police Department Media Release

The following were reported to the Meridian PD from 02-10-2014 to 02-11-2014

Robbery

At 4:59 PM, on February 10, 2014, Meridian Police responded to an armed robbery in the 1700 block of North Frontage Road. Officers arrived at 5:03 PM and learned that the victim was robbed of cash at knife point. The victim had minor injuries and was treated at a local hospital. Two people were taken into custody but no names are being released yet.

Commercial Burglary

There were no commercial burglaries reported.

Stolen Vehicles

At 7:04 AM, on February 10, 2014, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 2300 block of 45th Avenue. Officer arrived at 7:19 AM.

Auto Burglary

At 6:48 AM, on February 10, 2014, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 5000 block of Highway 39 N. Officers arrived at 6:53 AM and determined that entry was gained through a door.

At 8:38 AM, on February 10, 2014, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 2300 block of 45th Avenue. Officer arrived at 8:38 AM and determined that entry was gained through a door.

At 9:08 AM, on February 10, 2014, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 3500 block of 42nd Street. Officer arrived 9:08 AM and determined that entry was gained through a door.

At 10:32 AM, on February 10, 2014, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 2300 block of 18th Avenue. Officers arrived at 10:39 AM and determined that entry was gained through a door.

Residential Burglary

There were no burglaries reported.

Felony Arrest

On February 6, 2014, Meridian Detectives charged 29 years old Errick R. Bell with aggravated domestic violence. Bell’s bond was set at $10,000.

On February 7, 2014, Meridian Detectives charged 26 years old Cory J. Boutin with vehicle theft. Boutin’s bond was set at $5,000.

On February 10, 2014, Meridian Detectives charged 53 years old Ernest L. Smith with embezzlement. Smith’s bond was set at $5,000.

On February 10, 2014, Meridian Detectives charged 26 years old Johnny K. Stewart with forgery. Stewart’s bond was set at $5,000.
