Meridian Police have arrested 21 year old Alonzo L. Oliphant of Newton Ms and charged him with Felony Embezzlement. His bond was set at $25,000.

Meridian Police have arrested 23 year old Rey A. Barragan of Port Arthur, Texas and charged him with Simple Assault on a Police Officer. This arrest stems from an incident over the weekend where Barragan assaulted an Officer in the performance of his duties. The Officer received minor injuries. His bond was set at $25,000.
