Meridian Police Department Media Release

The following were reported to the Meridian PD from 01-18-2014 to 01-21-2014.

Robbery

At 1:17 AM, on January 19, 2014, Meridian Police responded to a report of an armed robbery in 4400 block of 35th Avenue. Officers arrived at 1:17 AM and determined that two unknown black males wearing mask robbed the clerk at gun point. The case is still under investigation.

Commercial Burglary

At 7:55 PM, on January 18, 2014, Meridian Police responded to a commercial burglary in the 2300 block of Highway 19 North. Officer arrived on scene 8:06 PM and determined that entry was made through a door.

At 8:55 PM, on January 19, 2014, Meridian Police responded to a commercial burglary in the 2300 block of Highway 19 North. Officer arrived on scene 9:05 PM and determined that entry was made through a door.

Stolen Vehicles

There were no stolen vehicles reported.

Auto Burglary

At 8:48 PM, on January 18, 2014, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 3900 block of Paulding Street. Officers arrived at 9:03 PM and found that entry was made through a window.

At 10:23 AM, on January 19, 2014, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 100 block South Frontage Road. Officer arrived on scene at 10:32 AM and determined that entry was gained through a door.

At 11:18 AM, on January 19, 2014, a victim came to Meridian Police Department to report an auto burglary that occurred in the 500 block of A Street. Entry was gained through a door.

At 12:18 AM, on January 21, 2014, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 500 block of Bonita Lakes Drive. Officers arrived at 12:28 AM and determined that entry was gained through a window.

At 4:55 AM, on January 21, 2014, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 1400 block of Roebuck Drive. Officer arrived at 5:01 AM and determined that entry was made through a door.

At 5:35 AM, on January 21, 2014, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 2300 block of Front Street. Officer arrived on scene at 5:43 AM and determined that entry was made through a window.

Residential Burglary

At 3:01 AM, on January 19, 2014, Meridian Police responded to a burglary in the 2000 block of Mosby Road. Officer arrived at 3:04 AM and determined that entry was gained through a window.

At 2:05 PM, on January 20, 2014, Meridian Police responded to a burglary in the 2500 block of Old Marion Road. Officer arrived at 2:19 PM and determined that entry was made through window.

Felony Arrest

On January 1, 2014, Meridian Narcotics Agents charged 35 year old Tammie T. Houston with possession of controlled substances. Houston was arrested after coming through a checkpoint. Bond was set at $5,000.

On January 17, 2014, Meridian Detectives charged Lindsay D. Harris with counterfeit instrument: forgery/uttering. Bond was set at $10000.

On January 17, 2014, Meridian Narcotics Agents charged 29 year old Megan D. Baxley with possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $5000.

On January 17, 2014, Meridian Narcotics Agents charged 21 year old John J. Little with possession of controlled substance. Bond was set at $5000.
