Monday, Meridian Police arrested 17 year old Richard J Dunnigan of Meridian (certified adult) and charged him with Receiving Stolen Property and Felon in Possession of a Weapon. This arrest stems from a stolen auto Dunnigan was allegedly driving that had been stolen hours before. At the time of his arrest and after a foot chase from the stolen car, it was determined Dunnigan was also in possession of a firearm. No bond was set for the charges.
