At 2149 hours last night, Meridian Police responded to a Strong Armed Robbery in the 500 block of 64th Avenue. Upon arrival they were advised by the victim that he was approached by a black male who punched him in the head, knocking him to the ground, and robbed of his belongings. The suspect, described as having a sleeve tattoo on his right arm, fled the scene in a small gold car. The victim received minor injuries. No further

Yesterday Meridian Police arrested 34 year old Erin E Aycock and 38 year old Henry Holley, both of Meridian and charged them with Residential Burglary. This charge stems from a burglary that occurred last week and a witness to the crime spotted the two on Saturday and called Police. The two were subsequently identified as the suspects who committed the burglary and were charged. Bond was set at $30,000 per charge.
Yesterday Meridian Police arrested 30 year old Troy Nix of Meridian and charged him with Commercial Burglary. This incident stems from a Burglary that occurred in the 1900 block of 24th Avenue on July 15th. Bond was set at $30,000.
Yesterday Meridian Police arrested 58 year old Wanda J Hampton of Meridian and charged her with Felony Shoplifting. Bond was set at $2,500.
Yesterday Meridian Police arrested 22 year old Brandon R. Dean of Meridian and charged him with Grand Larceny. Bond was set at $20,000.
