At about 0450 hours Sunday morning, Meridian Police responded to a residence located in the 1800 block of 18th Avenue on a call of shots being fired. Upon arrival Officers were advised a subject had fired rounds into the house and fled on foot. Police were able to apprehend the suspect within minutes hiding in a home not too far away. Police have now charged 21 year old Keenan D. Chaney of Meridian with Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling. Mr. Chaney was already out on bond for a previous felony charge that disqualified hm from receiving a bond on this charge. No one was harmed in the shooting.
