Auto Burglary

There were no Stolen Vehicles reported on Monday.

Robbery

Thursday morning at 214 AM, Meridian Police responded to an Armed Robbery call in the 100 block of 6th Avenue. Upon arrival they were advised a man was sleeping inside his home in his bed when he was woken by a black male armed with a handgun who robbed him of his money before fleeing on foot. A better description of the suspect is unavailable. The victim was unharmed. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 601-485-1860.

Commercial Burglary

Monday at 809 AM, Meridian Police responded to a Commercial Burglary in the 4100 block of 32nd Street. Entry was made through a window and miscellaneous items stolen. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 601-485-1860.

Residential Burglary

Monday at 1128 AM, Meridian Police responded to a Residential Burglary in the 300 block of B Street. Entry was through a window but nothing was stolen.

Monday at 9 PM, Meridian Police responded to an attempted Residential Burglary in the 3500 block of 31st Street. Entry was attempted through a door.

Monday at 1106 PM, Meridian Police responded to a Residential Burglary in progress. Upon arrival they spotted one of the suspects and was able to effect an arrest. The juvenile captured was charged with Residential Burglary. A second suspect remains at large.

On Monday, Meridian Police charged 25 year old Sederick L Fox of Meridian with Felon in Possession of a Weapon and Possession of a Stolen Firearm. These charges stem from the shooting reported early Saturday morning on 5th Street. Fox is the suspect who was taken into custody at the scene. No bond was set because Fox is already out on bond. The investigation is continuing.

On Monday, Meridian Police arrested and charged 21 year old Roby L Curtis of Meridian and charged him with Felony DUI. Bond was set at $5,000.
