The following were reported to the Meridian P.D. on Monday
Meridian Police are investigating one Residential Burglary that occurred on Monday the 9th of September. Officers responded to a home in the 4800 block of Hooper Street at 7:14 PM. Upon arrival they met with the homeowner who showed them where entry was made into the home through a door. A TV and other items were stolen. When more details are available they will be released.
Meridian Police are investigating one Stolen Vehicle case that occurred on Monday in the 3300 block of 27th Street. Meridian Police were alerted to the crime at 8:39 PM. Monday morning however the vehicle has since been recovered by the Meridian Police Department.
Meridian Police were called to the 4400 block of Railroad Street at 6:05 A.M. on a call of an Auto Burglary. The owner showed Police where entry was made through the door and money was stolen.
Meridian Police were advised Monday afternoon at 1245 P.M. of an Auto Burglary that occurred in the 2000 block of Highway 45 north. Entry was made through a door and a purse and other items were stolen
Meridian Police were called to the 3400 block of 25th Avenue at 7:37 A.M. on a call of an Auto Burglary. The owner showed Police where entry was made through the door and miscellaneous items were stolen.
Meridian Police answered another Auto Burglary call at 7:40 A.M. in the 200 block of North Hills Street. Upon arrival the owner showed Officers where entry was made through a door and money was stolen.
Another call of an Auto Burglary was answered at 9:06 A.M. in the 400 block of 47th Avenue. The victim showed Police where entry had been made through a door and miscellaneous items were stolen.
Other Auto Burglaries are currently under investigation.
Last night at about 2045, Meridian Police responded to a local E.R. to speak to a man who had been shot in the leg while walking down the street. The wound was non-life threatening.
