On Friday, Meridian Police arrested and charged 53 year old Gregory V Schlegel of Philadelphia Mississippi with 2 counts of Commercial Burglary. These charges stem from the burglaries of a business in Meridian just hours before. The suspect burglarized the business then came back and burglarized it again. Credit is given to members of the Department's Delta Platoon for the investigation and identification of the suspect and members of the Department's Alpha Platoon for his capture just hours later. Bond was set at $20,000 per charge. No further

On Saturday, Meridian Police charged 34 year old Quentia M Moore-Weir and 30 year old LaMarcus L Weir of Weir Mississippi and charged them with 7 counts of Forgery/Uttering. The husband and wife had their bonds set at $50,000.

The following were reported to the Meridian P.D. from the time period of Friday to Monday.
Commercial Burglary

Meridian Police are announcing arrests made in 3 Commercial Burglaries that occurred between Friday to Monday. Details of the arrests are above.

Meridian Police are also investigating 3 other Commercial Burglaries that happened early Tuesday morning. Because of the efforts put forth by members of Delta Platoon and the Criminal Investigations Division, three subjects are now in custody in relation to these early morning burglaries with charges pending.
