Early Tuesday morning, Meridian Police responded to an Attempted Commercial Burglary and later a Commercial Burglary on the east side of town. Police investigated the scene, gathered evidence and then left. Within hours, an Officer on normal patrol noticed suspicious behavior and got out with three individuals on the east side of town. During his investigation he discovered another Attempted Commercial Burglary and took these suspects into custody. The investigation was continued by Criminal Investigations Division and that led to the arrests of 22 year old Derrick L. Gaddis, 18 year old Jakuavis D. Powe and a 17 year old juvenile for the charges of Commercial Burglary and 2 counts of Attempted Commercial Burglary. Total bond on the two adults was set at $100,000 each while the juvenile has been referred to youth court.
