Robbery

No Armed Robberies were reported on Thursday

Commercial Burglary

At 118 AM Thursday, Meridian Police responded to a Commercial Burglary in the 5500 block of 5th Street. Entry was through a door but nothing was stolen.

Stolen Vehicle

At 502 PM Thursday, Meridian Police responded to a Stolen Vehicle call in the 2800 block of Grandview Avenue. A 1999 Ford F-150, gold and black, was stolen from the yard. The Ms tag displayed is LA5-665. Anyone with information about this is asked to call Crimestoppers at 601-485-1860.

Auto Burglary

At 711 AM Thursday, Meridian Police responded to an Auto Burglary in the 300 block of 46th Avenue. Entry was through a door and money stolen. Anyone with information about this is asked to call Crimestoppers at 601-485-1860.

At 1020 AM Thursday, Meridian Police responded to an Auto Burglary in the 2200 block of 28th Avenue. Entry was through a door and money stolen. Anyone with information about this is asked to call Crimestoppers at 601-485-1860.

Residential Burglary

At 917 PM Thursday, Meridian Police responded to a Residential Burglary in the 4600 block of Valley Street. Entry was through a door and a TV was stolen. Anyone with information about this is asked to call Crimestoppers at 601-485-1860.

At 859 PM Thursday, Meridian Police responded to a Residential Burglary in the 4400 block of 40th Avenue. Entry was through a window and money was stolen. Anyone with information about this is asked to call Crimestoppers at 601-485-1860.

Yesterday Meridian Police arrested 26 year old Schacobee S Rush of Meridian and charged him with 2 counts of Residential Burglary and 1 count of Commercial Burglary. Bond was set at $50,000 per charge. These charges stem from burglaries that occurred on October 9th and October 14th of this year. Rush was arrested due to a citizen who saw something and said something. Further charges are pending against Rush.
