The following were reported to the Meridian P.D. on Wednesday
Robbery

At 147 AM this morning, Meridian Police responded to an Armed Robbery that occurred in the 1300 block of Hamilton Avenue. Upon arrival they were informed that 3 black males and 2 black females forced their way into a room and robbed the occupants at gunpoint. Shortly afterwards, a person of interest was taken into custody by Meridian Police. The case is under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 601-485-1860.

Commercial Burglary

At 1056 AM Wednesday, Meridian Police responded to a Commercial Burglary in the 1500 block of 10th Avenue. The owner showed Police where entry was made through a door and miscellaneous items stolen. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 601-485-1860.

At 243 PM Wednesday, Meridian Police responded to a Commercial Burglary in the 600 block of 14th Avenue. Upon arrival they were shown how entry was made through a window but nothing was reported stolen. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 601-485-1860.

Residential Burglary

Wednesday afternoon at 1218 PM, Meridian Police responded to a Residential Burglary in the 1300 block of 6th Street. The owner showed Police how entry was made by pulling the air conditioner out of the window. Miscellaneous items were stolen from the home. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 601-485-1860.

Wednesday afternoon at 319 PM, Meridian Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Greenwald Drive on a Residential Burglary call. Upon arrival they were shown how entry was made through a door and miscellaneous items were stolen. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 601-485-1860.

Wednesday night at 844 PM, Meridian Police responded to a Residential Burglary in the 3400 block of 17th Avenue. Upon arrival they were shown how entry was made by pulling an air conditioner out of a window. A TV was stolen from the home. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 601-485-1860.

Stolen Vehicle

At 512 PM Wednesday afternoon, Meridian Police were called to a Stolen Vehicle case in the 2200 block of Highway 45 north. The owner advised the vehicle, a 1987 Chevy S-14 that is black in color, was stolen sometime in the last 24 hours. There is no tag displayed on the truck. Auto Burglary

Meridian Police responded to an Auto Burglary at 756 AM Wednesday morning in the 700 block of Bonita Lakes Drive. The owner showed Police where entry was made through a door and tools were stolen. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 601-485-1860.
