On December 6, 2013, Meridian Detectives charged 20 year old James L. Burrage Jr. with Forgery/Uttering counterfeit instrument. This arrest stemmed from a case on Dec. 2, 2013 where checks of a local business were counterfeited and cashed. Bond was set at $40,000.
On December 11, 2013, Meridian Detectives charged 18 year old Julius D. Durr with grand larceny. This arrest was from a case on October 21, 2013 where a gun was stolen from a local business in the 2100 block of North frontage Road. Bond was set at $2,500.
On December 12, 2013, Meridian Detectives charged 48 year old Kathy N. Blackmon with grand larceny. This arrest stemmed from a report of stolen jewelry from the 200 block of Knight Parker Road on June 5, 2013. Bond was set at $5,000.
