With runoff elections in Mississippi just three days away, Saturday was the final day to vote absentee.
Circuit Clerks offices across the state were open from 8 AM to 12 PM to help those last minute voters who needed to cast their ballot before election day.
Lauderdale County Circuit Clerk Donna Jill Johnson says absentee turnout is usually a good measure of what turnout will be like on election day.
"They are low which again is that thermostat telling you that our turnout is going to be low for the runoff," says Johnson.
Polls will be open from 7 AM to 7 PM on Tuesday.
