Saturday was the last day to register to vote for those planning on casting a ballot in November's general election.
Several residents stopped by the Lauderdale County Circuit Clerk's office to register for the first time, or update their address.
"We've probably had about 200 extra people added," says Circuit Clerk Donna Jill Johnson.
"The great thing about it is so many people have changed their address, and gotten in the right precinct, because they want their vote to count in November."
Residents planning on mailing in a registration form had to have their form postmarked by Saturday in order to be eligible to vote November 8th.
