Randy Anderson has been declared the winner of the September 27 runoff election for the Conehatta seat on the Choctaw Tribal Council.
Anderson had been one of seven candidates running to represent the Conehatta community in the Sept. 6 election.
When the ballots were counted, Anderson and another candidate, Jesse Thomas, were tied with 182 each.
In the runoff, Anderson received 282 votes, while Thomas received 206 votes.
