Dozens of Cities Miss Certification Deadline
Posted: 06/14/2013 - Mississippi's chief elections officer says numerous municipalities failed to certify their recent election results by the legal deadline.
Saturday is the final day to register to vote to participate in the Mar. 13 federal primaries.
Any new voters or voters who have changed their address need to register or re-register no later than 12 noon Feb. 11. Mississippi circuit clerk offices are open Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
Candidates for president and Congress will be on the ballot.
