Tisdale to Challenge

Results show that Sam Tisdale lost Tuesday's democratic primary to current Sheriff James Moore after receiving 39% of the votes.

'I feel like there are a whole lot of discrepancies going on,' says Tisdale. 'They're saying ain't but 3,000 people voted in Kemper County, and they are telling us there is a heavy turnout. That is a very low turnout, because we have more than 7,000 voters here in Kemper County. I am planning to contest it. My campaign came out of my pocket and I'm not going to just sit down and give it to him. By no means am I conceding,' says Tisdale.

The ultimate winner in that primary will face an independent candidate during the general elections in November.

WTOK: Do you all EVER keep up with the dates on these "commented subjects"? Tisdale made his challenge, and the challenge was resolved. This is ALL OVER WITH----take it off the page. You all continue to be extremely tardy in reviewing subject matter---TRY to be professional---I know it will be difficult.

Sheriff Moore is a great sheriff. If you do your job that you are getting paid to do, you will not have any problem out of him.

Remmber all jobs have pros and cons. Documentation is the key, in order for Sheriff Moore to make the necessary changes for which you are complaining you must create a paper trail. First and far most make sure you have yourself in the clear. You productivity on the job will speak for itself. If you are a good workers that will carry you a long way. Good work etiquette and proficient skills along with appropriate documentation is what will help you in your present situation. Also remember the internet is not the place to fight a job battle, although your employer / adminstrator may not have your personal respect you must be respectable of the job you hold and the position they hold.

Sheriff Moore, keep up the good work. Oh yeah, he is very educated and has resided in Kemper County for at least thirty years. He is an outstanding citizen and sheriff. The atmosphere feels safe. Let him continue to do his job because he does it so well!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations to Sheriff JAMES MOORE. The residents of Kemper County have a great sheriff and are getting what they voted for. I only wish he had been Sheriff while I served as Chief of Police for the DeKalb police department. The citizens of DeKalb and Kemper County deserve dedicated hard working Law Enforcement officials. They want and expect their leaders to be trustworthy and respectable. I encourage both the Police Department and the Sheriff's department to continue to work together to serve the citizens of Kemper County to the best of their ability.

Kirk, Thank you for this post. That is one of many reasons that I am so proud of Sheriff Moore. He works with Dekalb Police Dept., as well as other law enforcement agencies. His goal is to help in any way possible and he is not worried about who gets the CREDIT. He has represented kemper County well. The Sheriffs Dept. is so neatly dressed and it makes me so proud when Mr. Moore is interviewed. He is able to answer questions appropriately and the listener is able to understand him as well as understand what he is talking about. Thank you for your continued support of kemper County. You are welcome here anytime.

Mr. Tisdale is a residence of Kemper County. He cares about our people. Mr. Moore, are you educated? Do you reside in another state? It doesn't matter if your spouse reside here. Sir, you must reside in this county to be a candidate for sheriff
