The Travis Tritt concert, set for May 27 at the Lauderdale County Agricenter, has been anticipated for weeks.
The country music artist has sold millions of albums and puts on exciting shows.
But so far, ticket sales have been disappointing.
Organizers are counting on the community to keep this tradition of bringing in top professional talent going.
"We really need people to support this," said Carolyn Smith, a member of the Jimmie Rodgers Foundation board of directors. "And we really encourage them to buy these tickets. What a wonderful way to start their Memorial Day weekend with a great concert for Jimmie Rodgers "
Until Saturday, tickets may be purchased for $25 each at the Jimmie Rodgers Museum, the customer service desk at the Bonita Lakes Mall and at the Lauderdale County Agricenter.
On Saturday, the day of the show, tickets will be $30 each and available only at the Agricenter.
