Fair season in Neshoba County is starting this week, beginning with the 57th Annual Choctaw Indian Fair.
Ranked as one of the top 20 attractions in the southeast, the Indian Fair celebrates Choctaw culture and showcases tribal arts, crafts, and dances.
"It's going to be one of the best fairs ever. Every year, we seem to grow and bring in good entertainment. But the big thing is for Choctaw people to gather and enjoy the Choctaw Indian Fair," said Chief Phillip Martin.
The fair is July 12-15 and will also feature the world series of stickball at the Choctaw Central football field.
