"Grease" is the word at Clarkdale High School. At least it has been for the past few months.
A cast and crew of 60 students and teachers are presenting the musical "Grease" this weekend at Meridian Community College. The production has been in rehearsals since September.
"One of the things I think they have learned, the cast has learned, is responsibility. You have to be here on time. You've got to learn your lines. If you don't know your lines you mess everybody else up," said Clarkdale teacher, Julie Lawson, who plays "Miss Lynch" in the play. "And so, besides responsibility, I think just pride, that we can come together and pull, pull off something like this."
Tickets are available for weekend performances at Meridian Community College's McCain Theatre. Shows are at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10.00 each and are available at the door.
