Free Labor Day Show Coming to Bonita

A free concert will be presented on Labor Day at Bonita Lakes Park in Meridian.

Molly Hatchet will headline the show, with performances by Kirsten Davies and Black Stone Cherry.

The free concert will be performed on the Jagermeister Music Stage at Bonita Lakes Park in Meridian on Monday, Sept. 3.

"Molly Hatchet is one of the groups we've done for years and years and they consented to come here," said Hartley Peavey. "And we wanted the citizens of this area to see this magnificent stage that represents Peavey, actually Meridian, all over the United States. The fact is it's a world class stage."

The Jagermeister stage is the official stage for Ozzfest, NASCAR, the NHRA and the NFL. The sound system was build in Meridian by Peavey Electronics.

Gates will open at Bonita Lakes Park at 3 p.m. Kirsten Davies will take the stage at 4:30 p.m., followed by Black Stone Cherry at 5:30 p.m. The headliner, Molly Hatchet will perform at 7 p.m.

The concert, presented by Peavey Electronics and The New V 93.5 and 106.9 The Buzz is free, but you will need a ticket. Those tickets are available by listening to The New V 93.5 and 106.9 The Buzz. For more information, contact 601-693-2661.
