An internationally-known clothing designer for music stars is in Meridian this weekend, taking part in the big Sparkle & Twang Exhibit: Marty Stuart's American Musical Odyssey.
Manuel, who has designed costumes for singers like Elvis, Johnny Cash and Stuart, is in town to help launch the exhibit.
Many of the costumes that are a part of the display were created by him.
"Actually, it's the people that inspire me more than anything else, because most of these things are images of themselves," said Manuel.
Manuel has been called 'The Rhinestone Rembrandt". He will hold a special presentation at the Riley Center Saturday at 2 p.m.
