The Young Professionals of Meridian sponsored the 59Twenty Music Festival Oct. 8 to benefit Care Lodge Domestic Violence Shelter. There was a full day of entertainment, food and fun for all ages.
Over 600 people came out to Singing Brakeman Park to listen to the 13 bands that played throughout the day.
YPM was able to make a donation of $3,050 to Care Lodge.
"We believe in what Care Lodge is doing for the community, and only hope that we can continue to help support them," said YPM president, Josh Waters.
The Young Professionals will be holding the 59Twenty Music Festival again next year, but the date has not yet been set.
