The 62nd Annual Choctaw Indian Fair is set for July 13-16, 2011.
It begins with the Choctaw Indian Princess Pageant Wednesday, July 13 at 7 p.m.
Musical entertainment this year includes: The Spinners (“Could It Be I’m Falling in Love,” “The Rubberband Man,” and “Working My Way Back to You/Forgive Me, Girl”); Atlanta Rhythm Section (“So into You,” “Champagne Jam,” and “Spooky”); Starship featuring Mickey Thomas (“Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now,” “We Built This City,” and “Sara”) ; up-and coming Canadian country music star and Ojibwe First Nations member Crystal Shawanda; and LeAnn Rimes (“Blue,” “How Do I Live,” “Unchained Melody,” and “Can’t Fight the Moonlight”).
The Choctaw Indian Fair showcases Choctaw culture and spirit including Tribal arts, crafts, dances, foods, and World Championship Stickball.
Tickets for all acts and other fair activities excluding carnival rides are: $15 for adult season passes, $10 for adult day passes, $10 for student season passes and $5 for student day passes. Children five and under get in free.
