Trick or treaters swarmed the streets of Meridian Saturday night in hopes of finding as much candy as possible.
Some of those trick or treaters filled the halls of Bonita Lakes Mall. No matter where they went, kids in costumes were on the same mission: gathering candy.
The city of Meridian celebrated Halloween Saturday night since it fell on Sunday this year.
We talked to Jonathon Edwards who was dressed as Steve Urkel.
"'What do you like about him?' He be walking funny and talking funny. 'Can you give me an impression? What's he say?' Did I do that?"
Children were out in their costumes from 5 until 9 Saturday evening. Children 12 years old and younger were allowed to participate.
