Bank Robber Arrest

An arrest has been made in a bank robbery in Meridian.

The robbery happened around 2:15 Monday afternoon at Regions Bank at Bonita Lakes Circle.

The suspect was identified as a 16-year-old from Florida.

A Crimestoppers tip led police to make the arrest in Jackson. But because of her age, the suspect is not being charged as an adult and her name is not being released to the media.
