'False Alarm' Fire

Clarke County authorities say a report Monday morning about a possible fire at a popular Quitman store turned out to be a false alarm.

Emergency responders received the call about the possible fire at Fred's Dollar Store in Quitman around 6:30 a.m.

Once on the scene they discovered that it was a false alarm. There is no damage to report.
