Elderly Driver Killed

A two-vehicle accident in Smith County, Mississippi has left one person dead. It happened around 6:30 Sunday night on Highway 18 just east of Sylvarena. Hazel Walley of Bay Springs was the victim. Investigators say the 86-year-old died after the vehicle she was driving was struck from the rear. So far, the driver of the second vehicle has not been charged.
