Fugitive Arrested

Officials say a multi-agency operation has resulted in the arrest of a fugitive in Wayne County.

Jeremy Keith Holcombe was wanted on a warrant for a burglary in neighboring Clarke County. He and two others were taken into custody earlier this week at at residence in Wayne County.

Holcombe and the two other suspects, Jessica Crowder and Brian Slaton, now face charges for possession of crystal methamphetamine and marijuana with intent to distribute.

The Wayne County Sheriff's Department, Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, South Mississippi Narcotics Task Force and U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force executed the warrant at the residence where the arrests were made.
