Officials say an arrest could come soon in the case of a fire at Kemper County High School.
A fire heavily damaged a portion of the cafeteria at Kemper County High School in December 2011.
The main office and several classrooms were also vandalized.
Investigators say they have now received new information which could soon lead to an arrest or arrests.
"Within the last two weeks, we've had a little bit more information. We're validating that so we can bring this to a close," said Kemper County Sheriff James Moore.
A $7,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest or arrests in the case. The phone number for the Kemper County Sheriff Department's tip line is (601) 743- 4881.
