Morning Fire

Firefighters were called to the scene of an early morning house fire in Meridian Tuesday.
The fire at 3523 9th Street was reported shortly before 8 a.m. Upon arrival officials say heavy smoke was showing.
At this time it's unknown if anyone was inside the house when the fire was discovered. There were no immediate reports of injuries. Firefighters were able to contain the blaze.
An investigation will be conducted to determine the cause of the fire.
