Murder Case Latest

The case of a west Alabama woman accused of murder could go to trial this spring.

Kristie Diamond is accused in the shooting death of 61-year-old Theodore Martin.

The shooting happened in October 2011 at Martin's home outside Butler.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the use of Martin's truck may have been the motive.

Diamond's case could go to trial during the next court term in Choctaw County in May.
