Storm Damage Delays School in Union

The start of classes was delayed Monday in the town of Union due to overnight storm damage.

The start of classes was delayed Monday in the town of Union due to overnight storm damage. Students report to Union Public School at 10 a.m., but faculty and staff were asked to arrive between 9:15 and 9:30. The school did not necessarily get damaged during the storm. However, some businesses within the area did. For example, Allied Lock Industries, which is located inside the Industrial Park in Union, suffered major roof damage. We are told that the airplane hangar in that area was also destroyed, and there are a number of downed trees and power lines.
