After three weeks without running water, an elderly couple in west Alabama now has it. Water service is now being supplied to the house that 76-year-old George Waldrop shares with his 82-year-old bedridden wife. Three weeks after paying a deposit to the city of Pennington for service, Waldrop says he still did not have running water. That changed late Friday when the city started providing service to the house. Up until last month the couple's water was supplied by a private well. That stopped working late last month.
