District test coordinator Regina Ford presented the scores from last year's state exams to the Lauderdale County School Board Tuesday.
She said that while the results show that 2002-2003 was a very successful year for the district, there is no time to pause and celebrate.
"It's one of those things that we can't sit back and enjoy our success, because we had to hit the ground running and start the school year in order to maintain our success that we had this past school year," Ford said.
The Lauderdale County school district has nine schools. One rated a level three, or successful, and eight rated a level four, or above.
