Investigators are asking for the public's help in finding the person responsible for a recent fire at a business. A fire broke out Sept. 30 at the Dollar General store in Waynesboro.
No one was hurt. However, some damage was done to the interior of the building.
The suspect in the case is a young boy. Investigators describe him as a black male between nine and 12 years old. At the time, they say he was wearing a red shirt.
The penalty for arson is up to ten years in prison. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the Wayne County Sheriff's Department at (601) 735-2323.
