George Bryan of the Bryan Foods family was the special guest speaker at the MCC Foundation's President's Roundtable luncheon.
The luncheon is held to show appreciation to the business community for its support of the college's tuition guarantee program.
"I think the secret to any business is you have to have good products and you have to have great employees and people that work for the company and are loyal to the company," said Bryan. "That's what we have in Mississippi. We have a lot of great employees, people that work hard for the business, and that's the reason Bryan Foods has been successful, is the people who work there."
Bryan Foods got its start here in the Magnolia State, in West Point, Miss.
The tuition guarantee is paid by businesses and individuals for graduates from high schools within Lauderdale County to attend Meridian Community College and maintain at least a C average.
