There will be a recount in Alabama of the votes cast for and against Amendment 2 that was on the ballot Nov. 2.
The controversial measure sought to remove segregation-era language from the state Constitution.
Final tallies show it lost by less than one percent.
Poll workers in all 67 counties will be instructed to recount each vote cast.
The secretary of state said she doesn't expect the recount to change the final election results.
