A federal judge has delayed the start of the trial for Bernie Ebbers, the former CEO of WorldCom. It had been set for Nov. 9 and has now been moved to Jan. 17, 2005.
The judge has also denied Ebbers' motion to move the trial from New York to Mississippi.
Ebbers is accused of orchestrating an $11 billion accounting fraud scam at Worldcom, which led to the company's collapse in 2002.
