The one-vehicle accident happened shortly after 2:00 a.m. Friday morning in front of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity house on the campus of the University of West Alabama.

Twenty-nine-year-old Chadwick Langford from Butler died in that accident. At last check, 27-year-old JoAnna Green also from Butler, was being treated at a Birmingham hospital for injuries sustained in the accident.

Meanwhile, 22-year-old James Ford from Oakman, Alabama, has been charged in the case. He is charged with vehicular homicide, murder, driving under the influence of alcohol and leaving the scene of an accident. His bond was set at $70,000.
