State Rep. Bobby Singleton has been declared the winner in the Democratic primary runoff for Alabama's District 24 state Senate seat.
Complete but unofficial returns show Singleton received roughly 52 percent of the votes to Demopolis City Councilman Thomas Moore's 47 percent.
Singleton will now advance to the General Election on January 25 where he will face Republican James E. Carter of Boligee.
