A convertible crashed Monday afternoon on Interstate 20/59 but the driver apparently escaped critical injuries. She was alert and talking after the crash.
John Bryan of Livingston said he was eastbound and saw the car lose control while in the westbound passing lane.
The driver, believed to be a registered nurse from Tennessee, was wearing a seatbelt. She taken to a local hospital for treatment.
