One of the victims in Saturday’s fatal accident in west Alabama has now been transported to University Medical Center in Jackson for treatment.
We are told that the other injured victim has now been moved to a room at a Meridian hospital. Meanwhile, an investigation continues into the fatal accident.
It happened around 1 a.m. Friday morning in Livingston. Eighteen-year-old Michael Stewart from Vinemont, Ala. was killed in the accident. He was a student at the University of West Alabama.
A preliminary investigation shows that the driver lost control of the vehicle and hit a tree.
