The first minority representative of the Lauderdale County School Board was sworn in to office Thursday afternoon.
Glenn hall was elected to represent District Two in November. Hall said he is anxious to be involved in the process of overseeing district policy.
"I would like to get in there and learn what's happening, and you know, there are some things that have been expressed by parents to me," said Hall. "And some of the things we know of may be needs, but I'd rather get in with the board and work along with them before I say anything. "
Also sworn in Thursday was MCC instructor Barbara Jones, who was re-elected in November.
