Several are kids had breakfast with Santa Saturday morning.

The Meridian Chapter of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity hosted its inaugural Sigma Soulful Santa Breakfast at the Council Of Organizations building. The fraternity wanted to do this community service project to help create a positive influence on the community.

"This is a very good project as it relates to Christmas to our children and having them share in the spirit of Christmas and giving back to our community," said Otis Gowdy - Sigma Soulful Santa Chairman.

In addition to breakfast, the kids took part in caroling and other Christmas activities.
